The Southern Boone County R-I School District is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Math Interventionist to support mathematics achievement at Southern Boone Middle School. This position serves students in grades 5–8 and focuses on providing Tier II and Tier III interventions to students who are struggling academically in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group math instruction to students requiring academic intervention
  
  
• Design and implement targeted Tier II and Tier III instructional strategies aligned with district curriculum
  
  
• Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify student needs and monitor ongoing progress
  
  
• Analyze assessment data to adjust instruction and improve student outcomes
  
  
• Monitor, document, and report student progress and performance
  
  
• Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff regarding student growth
  
  
• Collaborate with school staff to support overall student achievement
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid appropriate grade-level and subject-area certification
  
  
• Demonstrated student-centered philosophy
  
  
• Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with students, families, and school staff
  
  
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
  
  
• Ability to apply multiple instructional and differentiation strategies to meet diverse learner needs
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with middle school students
