The Southern Boone County R-I School District is seeking qualified applicants for a Kindergarten Instructional Aide position for the 2025-2026 school year at our Primary School.

 

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a strong student-centered philosophy and the ability to support a diverse group of learners with varying needs. The ideal applicant will exhibit strong communication skills, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with young children. Experience supporting literacy and math instruction is preferred.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 60 hours of college credit
  Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff
• Commitment to fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or two years of postsecondary education preferred.
• Prior experience working with children in an educational or care setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work with different people and diverse student populations.
