The Southern Boone County R-1 School district is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to serve as a School Administrator Substitute. This temporary and as needed position involves stepping in for the school administrator in his/her absence, ensuring smooth daily operations, supporting staff and students, and maintaining a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational skills, and an ability to handle administrative duties efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the school in the absence of the regular administrator.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff on campus.
• Provide leadership and support to staff members, including teachers, support staff, and substitutes.
• Enforce school policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Communicate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders regarding student progress, school activities, and concerns.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of school events, meetings, and activities.
• Address and resolve any disciplinary issues, conflicts, or emergencies as needed.

Qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree or higher in Education Administration
• Valid administrative certification
• Experience in building leadership is highly preferred

Compensation:

$200 per day as needed
