Assist teachers with classroom instruction, organization, and management. Work one-on-one or with small groups of students to reinforce academic concepts and support skill development. Support students with special needs as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans. Monitor and support student behavior, encouraging positive decision-making, self-management, and appropriate social interactions. Assist students in staying organized, completing assignments, and developing study and executive functioning skills. Provide supervision and support during class transitions, lunch periods, assemblies, field trips, and other school activities. Prepare, organize, and maintain instructional materials, technology, and classroom resources. Document student observations, academic progress, and behavioral data as directed by supervising staff. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to meet student needs. Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all district policies, procedures, and professional standards. Qualifications
