Boys Assistant Baseball Coach

Southern Boone High School is seeking a motivated and dedicated Boys Assistant Baseball Coach to join our athletic program for the 2026-27 school year. This position supports the Head Baseball Coach in developing a competitive, positive, and student-centered baseball experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with planning and conducting practices and games
• Supporting player development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Helping supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and travel
• Promoting academic success and positive behavior among student-athletes
• Assisting with equipment, field preparation, and program needs
• Upholding school, district, and MSHSAA policies and expectations

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of baseball fundamentals and coaching strategies
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Coaching experience preferred (but not required)
• Must meet all district and MSHSAA coaching requirements
