Southern Boone Middle School is seeking an outstanding Middle school Ag/Industrial Tech/FACS Teacher to serve middle school students. This position includes instruction in Agriculture, Shop, and Family & Consumer Sciences. The ideal candidate is passionate about hands-on learning, believes all students can achieve at high levels, and is committed to fostering student success in both academic and practical life skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach middle school courses in Agriculture, Industrial Technology, and Family & Consumer Sciences
  
  
• Design and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons that support student learning and growth
  
  
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  
  
• Incorporate real-world applications and experiential learning opportunities.
• Create and maintain a budget.
• Maintain equipment to keep in good working conditions.
  
  
• Collaborate with colleagues as part of a Professional Learning Community (PLC)
  
  
• Use data and reflective practices to improve instruction and student outcomes
  
  
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state requirements
  
  
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development
