Position Title: Summer Weight Room Assistant

Position Summary:
Southern Boone School District is seeking a dependable and motivated Summer Weight Room Assistant to support our athletic and student fitness programs. This position assists with the supervision, organization, and daily operation of the district weight room during summer training sessions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during scheduled weight room sessions
• Assist with basic instruction on safe and proper use of weight room equipment
• Monitor student behavior and ensure all safety guidelines are followed
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe weight room environment
• Set up and put away equipment as needed
• Communicate effectively with coaches, staff, and students

Qualifications:

• Interest or experience in fitness, athletics, or strength training preferred
• Ability to work well with students in a school setting
• Strong attention to safety and supervision
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to follow district policies and procedures

Work Schedule:

• Summer position
• Hours vary based on training schedules
