Southern Boone High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Volleyball Coach to join our coaching staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for working with student-athletes, supporting their development both on and off the court, and contributing to a positive, competitive volleyball program.

 

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Head Coach with planning, organizing, and conducting practices and games.

• Providing skill instruction, motivation, and support to student-athletes.

• Promoting good sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic excellence.

• Assisting with game and practice logistics, including setup, equipment, and travel arrangements.

• Ensuring compliance with school, district, and MSHSAA (Missouri State High School Activities Association) policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, strategies, and rules.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

• Prior coaching or playing experience preferred.

• Must meet all MSHSAA coaching requirements.
