We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the curriculum standards, a passion for fostering curiosity and critical thinking, and the ability to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with state standards.
• Utilize diverse teaching strategies and tools to cater to the various learning styles and abilities of students.
• Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Set clear expectations for behavior, participation, and academic performance.
• Handle classroom dynamics effectively and provide support to students as needed.
• Regularly assess student progress through quizzes, tests, projects, and informal assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and their families on academic performance.
• Adjust instructional methods based on student needs and data from assessments.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide initiatives.
• Provide individualized support to students who may be struggling with the material.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Valid teaching certification for high school math.
• Previous teaching experience (preferred).
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
